Two layers. The live layer pulls public, machine-readable sources every 15 minutes with no AI involved: the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, the NVD, FIRST EPSS scores, GitHub Security Advisories, abuse.ch ThreatFox, the ransomware leak-site tracker, government and vendor PSIRT feeds, partner research, and Cloudflare Radar. The AI layer runs four times a day. It reads the live snapshot, searches allow-listed X accounts and the web, and returns a structured brief.
Validation before publication. Every CVE id the model cites must exist in the live layer or resolve on the NVD, or it is dropped. "Confirmed" needs two independent sources; one good source is "Likely"; a single social post is "Reported". Actor names are normalized through an alias table so profiles accumulate on one record.
Security of the pipeline. Retrieved posts and pages are treated as untrusted data: model output is forced through a strict schema, stripped of markup and control characters, and only http(s) sources are kept. Indicators are defanged and never linked. Leak-site victims are published as group, sector, country, and date only. The public API is read-only and served from this origin.
Attribution. Origin is always stated as reported by the cited source. NIDSARK does not assert nation-state attribution on this page.
Stale beats wrong. If a source or the AI run fails, the previous snapshot stays up with its timestamp. Nothing on this page is ever generated to fill a gap.
